Translations

Use Translations to add and manage translated versions of a form. Editing translations requires write access to the form.

Example: add a reviewed language

  1. Complete the source-language form first, including labels, instructions, validation messages, and confirmation text.
  2. Select Translations and choose Add language.
  3. Select the required locale/language and add it to the form.
  4. Open the language for editing and translate every respondent-visible string in context.
  5. Set the default translation only when it should become the form’s default translated version.
  6. Preview the form in the added language at desktop and mobile widths. Check long labels, dates, buttons, errors, and right-to-left layout where applicable.
  7. Export/import translation files only through the approved localization process. Keep a reviewed source copy.

Language actions

The translations area supports adding a language, setting the default translation, enabling/disabling it, editing it, and importing/exporting its translation file. Deleting a translation is destructive; confirm that no active forms depend on it before removal.

Expected result

The language is complete, enabled only when approved, and usable through the whole respondent flow rather than just the first form page.
