Create and use templates
Use templates to standardize repeatable form designs. A template should be a reviewed starting point, not a live form with production submissions or integrations.
Safe procedure
- Build and fully test the form named
a test form. - In Settings > Form details, mark it as a template only after review.
- When creating a form, open New and select the appropriate template.
- Rename the new form, review every inherited field name, rule, notification, integration, payment, and publish setting.
- Test it as a separate form before publishing. A copied template is saved as a new form; editing the copy does not edit the source template.
Do not use Shared with me as a template source in this project. It is a list of forms shared by company members, not the template library. The live template-selection surface and a saved Support Request copy are shown in Start from a template. Template-specific recipients, integrations, payments, and workflow behavior must still be replaced and tested before production use.
