Publish, share, and embed a form
Use Publish only after Preview, settings, notification, security, and any integrations have been tested. Publishing can make a form reachable outside the editor.
Available publishing approaches
The Publish screen presents methods such as direct sharing, embedding, and hosting on an AbcSubmit or custom domain. Some installations may also show platform-specific routes such as Weebly or PlentyMarkets.
Safe sequence
- Test the form in Preview with non-sensitive data.
- Confirm form name, submission confirmation/redirect, notifications, security, and access restrictions.
- Open Publish and select the intended method.
- For embed code, paste it only into an approved test page first.
- For hosting, choose an AbcSubmit subdomain or follow the custom-domain DNS and HTTPS setup for a verified custom domain according to the organization’s domain-management policy.
- Visit the public result in a private/incognito browser session, complete a test submission, and verify the result and notifications.
Important boundary
Before publishing, remove sample data and complete the form’s security and payment configuration.
